Urge to remix comin' on strong now...

This is a great song, but with several problems related to instrumentation and mastering, detracting from the overall groove of the song. Would it be aight with you if I made an 8 or 16-bit rMX of this song? Feel free to listen to my original pieces to get a feel for the results before you answer.

Care to elaborate on the problems with instrumentation and mastering? I personally see this as fairly well done minus the hi-hat which I learned an important lesson with.

I've got no problems with you making it 8 or 16-bit.

NEVER use a Nexus preset as the central feature of your song. Fail fail fail. Vaguely repetitive, ok melodies, mastering needs work, etc. etc.

What...? The only Nexus preset in this song is the background that you can barely hear during most of the song. The rest is all custom made.
